Do you do all the designs freehand or are some of them stenciled?
Mostly freehand, but I do use the sticker guides you can buy at the drugstore when I want French tips. Also, on #49, I tried using post-it notes layered together in a zigzag shape to get the corners sharp. It didn't work very well and was harder that I thought it would be, but maybe next time I'll figure out a better way...
One thing that makes it tons easier to do designs is to use craft acrylic. I put the base color, or colors on my toenails with nail polish and then paint the designs with the craft paint. When I make a mistake, it just wipes right off and I can try again. If I am using another color of nail polish, wiping it off ruins the base color, too. After the paint dries, I make sure to put a clear top coat on and the design lasts as long as the pedicure does!
Here's my new blue. It is darker than the last one, but has that clean blue color I like, without green or grey to dull it :)
